Fin Free Vancouver
With the shark fin ban successfully passing in Toronto, it’s Vancouver's turn to take the reins by pushing for ban legislation. Not only does Vancouver have status as a world-renowned city for top quality cuisine, it is also striving to be the World's Greenest City by 2020. In addition to its national significance, a ban in Vancouver would send an important international message to jurisdictions like Hong Kong, where over half the world's shark fin is traded.
